Join us for this unique food and music performance based on the rhythms of cooking.
Gernas Maao, the founder of The Dum Tek Veg Project will cook live and present a selection of meat free dishes in the Dum Tek Veg style.
The cooking performance will be merged with the sound of percussion provided by Reda Henkesh while Fadi Sawiris will spin poi and dance, swinging and creating a variety of rhythmic and geometric patterns.
At the end of the cooking the food will be served on a common table shared by all the participants.
This will be followed by a performance by Gernas himself on the ‘Daf’, a traditional Kurdish percussion instrument
